RF switch - RF front-end chip product
Conduction Switch
The function of an RF conduction switch is to connect any one or multiple channels of RF signals through control logic, enabling the switching of different signal paths, including the switching between reception and transmission, and switching between different frequency bands. The main types of the company's RF conduction switch products include mobile communication conduction switches and WiFi switches, which are made using RF SOI materials and corresponding processes and widely used in mobile intelligent terminals such as smartphones.
Antenna Switch
An antenna switch is a type of RF switch that is directly connected to an antenna. It is primarily used to tune the transmission performance of antenna signals to achieve optimal efficiency at any applicable frequency, or to switch and select the antenna channel with the best performance. The company's antenna switches, depending on their functions, are divided into antenna tuning switches, antenna tuners, antenna exchange switches, etc. They are mainly made using RF SOI materials and corresponding processes and widely used in mobile intelligent terminals such as smartphones.
The working principle of an RF switch is shown in the figure below: When different voltages are applied to the control port of the RF switch, the ports of the RF switch will exhibit different connectivity. Taking a single-pole double-throw RF switch as an example, when a positive voltage is applied to the control port, the circuit connecting port 1 and port 3 is closed, while the circuit connecting port 2 and port 3 is open; when a zero voltage is applied to the control port, the circuit connecting port 1 and port 3 is open, while the circuit connecting port 2 and port 3 is closed.
